Hello. I would like to ask about the set book question.

Will I be able to choose from the three books? That is, do I know in advance which book to peruse?

Example: I like the book X, so I read it. What will be on the exam?

- Write a question on 'X', 'Y' or 'Z'

OR

- Write a question on Z

I appeal to you for your reply. I am sitting CPE this summer and if I have guessed correctly about this task, I should begin reading, because this is a good chance for me to receive a higher mark...

Have a look at this pdf.

As I wrote somewhere else (did you read my answer???), the answer is on page 23.
You don't need to read all the books.
You might even decide not to read any of them. Obviously, you would not be able to choose the fourth option, which would mean you have to choose among three and not four questions for the second task in part 2.
