Would I need commas around a name after a descriptive title? "Founder Jimmy Gramblin earned a degree . . ." for instance. Or would it matter if it was a position that could be filled by different people, but you're talking about a specific person? "3D technician John Hope also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts." or "Marketing Director and copywriter Nicole Burleigh manages the company’s marketing campaign." Would I need commas around the names in these instances?

No, you should not put commas in the examles you show above.

You would use commas like this:

The founder, Jimmy Gramblin, will be...

But when you use it as a title, then definitely not.
