Huh - I fixed that automatically in an earlier post, but must have copied and pasted this time without looking.

Oh well, I don't get excited over those kinds of errors, which are obviously just typos.

Hi all

Because there are so few relative pronouns in English  -  and I don't want my neighborhood to be 2 blocks away from my apartment  -  in Helsinki English I'd say: In my neighborhood there is a new supermarket which/that is two blocks away from my apartment.

Cheers

Hi Guys

In AmE, there is a strong tendency to use 'that' in restrictive clauses.
However, it is not particularly uncommon to find 'which' also used with restrictive clauses (without a comma, of course).
And there are even some sentences in which we have little or no choice but to use 'which' with a restrictive clause. Smile [:)] Wink [;)]

There is an interesting article here.

I think most of you already know by now that typing is not my forte. I will probably starve if I had to earn a living as a typist. Big Smile [:D]

Hi CB,

Your point is well taken. I think GG had the same point earlier. As a result, I'd modified the sentence. Of course we can rearrange the words to make it palatable to our taste. In fact I had it that way but I changed it becauseit sounded stiiff to me ears.  I could have easily removed "neighbood" from the sentence all together for sample purpose. But I chose to leave it.
