Hello,
Can someone please help me clarrify the following:
First, what is the difference between being disappointed in someone vs. disappointed with someone? My guess is that to be disappointed in someone is to be let down by someone's character or general nature as a person. To be disappointed with someone is to be upset about something someone has done.
Second, I had an ESL student ask me to clarify the difference between the following two sentences:
He was covered in blood.
He was covered with blood.
Many thanks in advance for anyone who can enlighten me regarding the aforementioned.
