What does "this is quite a walk2 mean?
Also, what does "he is quite a person" mean?
Does"quite a Noun" mean something good or tremendous?

"this is quite a walk": this is/was a long distance to walk
"he is quite a person": he has some special personal qualities
"quite a Noun": this is quite a special or strange noun

quite is for emphasis here
