Hello,

This is kind of a strange question, but I'd like to know whether the phrase "rear end" (to mean buttocks) is used in British English. Even if it isn't used, would British English speakers recognize the meaning? Thanks!!

Yes, it's used informally in British English and its meaning would be readily understood.
