Hi,
If these are instructions to the language game, how would you explain the use of quotation marks?

Work in groups. You are going to draw. On of you is "A". Draw it. Be sure to include all "B parts."

The instructions should be so perfectly clear that there is no need to explain any quotation marks. If you use them, their meaning should be obvious.

These instructions are not very clear, but apparently they are using the quotes to identify the individual players, and labels on game pieces (parts).

Thank you. Is identifying something a valid function of the quotation marks use?
