I have been reading a book and in this book they use the word "reckon" a lot. What does it mean? Whoever can help me, I will make you a Brazilian dish and send it to you. Thanks, Solange. I can send you anything: hahahah...brigadeiro,  churrasco, cerveja Brahma, coxinhas, all of these things are very yammi.... hahahahahah

reckon
1  count or compute by calculation.

4   conclude after calculation; be of the considered opinion. b (foll. by to + infin.) colloq. expect (reckons to finish by Friday). c colloq. think, suppose.
5  make calculations; add up an account or sum.  settle accounts with.
6   rely on, count on, or base plans on.
7   take (or fail to take) into account.
