Hi

after recommend, two structures are possible.
I recommend going there.(without an object)
or I recommend you to go there.

suggest is followed by -ing or that .....

so I suggest you to go there. is wrong.
therefore
"I suggest you going there." or
" I suggest that you go there." are correct one.

any wrong for the explain, pls advise me.

Thanks.
after recommend, two structures are possible.
Cambridge also says recommend can take a that-clause; what do you think of it?
"I suggest you going there."
Can suggest take an indirect object like you?

Hi
Can you give me examples for a that-clause for recommend and indirect object for suggest?

Thanks again, Mbouti.
Hi
Can you give me examples for a that-clause for recommend and indirect object for suggest?

The doctor recommended (that) I take more exercise. from Cambridge online dictionary
In your example, I meant you is an indirect object. In my opinion, suggest takes a direct object like your going or going, etc.

I also consider them wrong. I'm not particularly fond of the second structure illustrated in each group either. smile
In my own speech I don't think I ever use any except the first and third. In casual speech I almost always use the first form, and without the connecting that.
I [recommend / suggest] you try a different method.
I [recommend / suggest] you hurry up if you don't want to be late.
