Regard v/s Thnaks

some people write regards and some wirte thanks in the end of application or letter

which is more appropriate

That depends on what you would like to express. "Regards" is simply a friendly greeting, while "thanks" expresses the author's gratitude.

In addition, 'regards' suggests that you know the person you are writing to.

I hope that when you write your letter, you will use capitals correctly. Please try to remember to do that on our Forum as well. It will help you to get into the habit of it.
