Does this sentence look OK? I am using it in my email:

'Attached is the reimbursement form I spoke of in our meeting last. I think it a good addition to our accounting system as it can serve as an audit and expenditure control device. '

Thanks for your advice.

Hi,

'Attached is the reimbursement form I spoke of in our last meeting last. I think it a good addition to our accounting system as it can serve as an audit and expenditure control device. '

OK. Possibly use a word other than device, eg mechanism, measure.

Best wishes, Clive

Is it a structure?Could anyone explain it to me?
Thank you

How about this?

'Attached is the reimbursement form I spoke of in our last meeting. I think it would be a useful addition to our accounting system as it can serve as an audit and expenditure control device in the future developments. '

Hi Keron,

I think it a good addition to our accounting system as it can serve as an audit and expenditure control device.

"I think it a good addition to.........."
Is it a structure?Could anyone explain it to me?

Much more normal in business English would be 'I think it is (or 'will be') a good addition . . . '. However, it's also correct as written. It's like saying 'I think him a liar'. You can consider that either 'is/will be' is omitted, or else that it's a form of apposition where the two nouns are placed together.

Best wishes, Clive

Hi CK,

'Attached is the reimbursement form I spoke of in our last meeting. I think it would be a useful addition to our accounting system as it can serve as an audit and expenditure control device in the future developments. '

Would be indicates 'future maybe'. The sentence as originally written could be interpreted to mean that, or, as a rather less likly but possible meaning, that the form is already in use as part of the accounting system.

In the future developments is an awkward phrase. I'd recommend omitting it or saying it in some other way.

Best wishes, Clive
