As the number of remaining vacation days decreases, so does my mood.

Is above correct?

Thanks

What would be a good search term? I keyed in mood and it returned tens of thousands of entries and nothing on the first few pages suggest a verb.

 try e.g.

 "so my mood"

(quotation marks are required)

and watch for verbs in front  and after it

Got it. One more question. As the number of remaining vacation days decreases, my mood is spiralling down/spirals down. Which is better?
