This is with reference to delayed/wrong deliveries made by Pro Cargo. Details of the FPOs are given below.

1-       IEL-F-0298-07. Wrongly shipped to Qatar. The status report shows the order as still open. Meanwhile our sales engineer received a call from Qatar stating they received a package from PC along with IEL order no.

2-       IEL-F-0275-07. On the FPO it was clearly written "Mode of shipment: will advise". But we received material by air freight from PC. In fact, this should have been a direct delivery to our client in the USA. This was not happened first timeThis is not the first time this has happened and we have encountered  but we are facing the same problem many times. The same is the case for IEL-F-0349-07.

Frequently we received a status report from PC stating “ON HAND COMPLETE” but we have not received the material in the following shipment. When we contacted PC and asked for an explanation why the material was not shipped, PC informed us that they were waiting for documents SSC/SED from the supplier. We have instructed/informed PC many times that such information must be passed to us immediately so that we can take up the matter with the supplier.

For IEL-F-0298-07, PC received material from Gallop Machines: 6 cartons without documents, dated 6 June 07. The supplier confirmed that this material from Gallop Machinery belongs to Inter Equipment. PO # is IEL-F-0283-07, dated 08 June 07. PC also confirms that they are going to ship the material in the next container, but we received the items of another FPO (IEL-F-0158-07) with the invoice for IEL-F-0283-07 invoice.

When we contacted the supplier regarding the balance order of IEL-F-0298-07, he explain that they have already shipped every thing to PC. PC also claimed that they had no more material for IEL-F-0298-07. We requested the supplier to forward to us the delivery proof and instructed PC to check their warehouse once again. 

 Finally it was discovered that PC had 6 cartons from Gallop Machines but without documents. These are the same 6 cartons which were already confirmed by the supplier that these are belong to as being  IEL-F-0283-07 DATED 08 JUNE 07 which PC had confirmed as having been shipped the shipment of these cartons.

The above problem was mainly due to the incomplete information in the PC status report. Therefore we strongly recommend for that in future PC provide an itemised status report. the item wise status report from PC.
