Hi,

I work in a company in India. I am on a project in USA. I am here on Per Diem basis. That is all my boarding and lodging is taken care by my company and Iam paid some amount calculated depending on number of weeks I am on the Project.

Part of the money is paid during the start of the project; rest is paid after the end. I was not paid the full initial amount due to some reasons beyond the company's control.

I would like to write a mail to our manager in a single concise paragraph requesting for more money as I would like to make few purchases here.

I would like it to look like a request but also like it to look a bit aggressive so that they do not delay it.

Can somebody help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please see the top post in this section. We don't write letter. We only help you correct your letters. Starting a letter will reflect your information, knowledge, and intent. Once we see what you've written, we can give you our comments.

If I were you, I would be very factual. Here's the agreement. Here's what happened. Here's what I want to happen going forward. In fact, I would put "here's what I want to happen up front" and then provide the background and repeat what I want to have happen.

And if you going to post your letter, I'd disguise it. Change the numbers and commitments so that your letter is not recognizable to the concerned parties.

Hope that helps.
