It's Saturday night and there isn't a good program or movie in the television. Then I have a suggestion, watch "The Bourne Identity" movie. It was released to theaters in North America on June 14, 2002. But I saw it on DVD this summer. It stars Matt Damon as Jason Bourne and Franka Potente as Marie Helena Kreutz. It is an action / adventure movie based on Robert Ludlum's novel.

It is about an agent of the CIA who is found by fishermen with gunshot wounds and a device with a number of a Swiss bank account. He suffers from amnesia and he doesn't remember who he is and not even his name. But he still has his skills to speak English, French and German and all he learnt as an agent. He finds several passports, a lot of money and a gun at the Swiss bank. He metts Marie at a US consulate. Together, they go to Paris which is the city on his American passport. Jason realizes that some people are trying to kill him. One of them links him to his superior. Will he know at the end who he is? When I was watching this movie I looked foward to knowing who he is.

I like this movie because it is a suspenseful one. This is an excellent thriller. I think that it is better than James Bond movies because "The Bourne Identity" is more realistic. After I saw it, I couln't wait to watch the next movie: "The Bourne Supremacy". If you don't believe me, watch this movie and you'll see how it is good. It is a highly recommended movie.

In addition to julielai's great corrections there, I just wanted to say how well you've organized your writing. A good lead-in to the movie and summary of some of its production details, then the description of the plot in the body, and why you liked the movie and would recommend it to others by way of conclusion.

I know it's important to look at grammar, but I want you to know you have some good overall organizational skills. That's a very important thing to master first.

May I ask what the purpose of your writing here was? Was it a personal diary entry, a general movie review, or a persuasive piece to convince others to watch it, too? Knowing your specific purpose helps people like me to help you further refine your writing.

Best regards,

- Jason

Hi,

The purpose of my text is for an English course. I have to make a short review of a film which I have recently seen. There's 4 parts. I have to identify the film, describe it, give my opinion on the film and suggest to the reader whether he/she should see the film.

Thanks to julielai for the corrections.

Hi,

Maybe someone can help me. I have to use a gerunds in my text. I tried one but Julie lai suggest me to write: "When I was watching this movie I could not wait to find out who he is." instead of "When I was watching this movie I looked forward to knowing who he is."

Is there anyone who has an idea?

Thanks in advance,

Adderly
