I remember reading this riddle a long time ago but it went something like this:
Can you think of three words ending in -gry?
Angry is one of them.
Hungry is another.
What is the third word.
Apparently there are many versions of this riddle but this particular one was a bit different and it only worked if you read it out of a book. In this case, the answer lies in the punctuation. The last sentence is a statement, not a question. The word "what" was the answer to this riddle. The riddle doesn't say "There
are three words that end in -gry", it said "Can you think of three words ending in -gry?". So, 'hungry', 'angry', and 'what' are just three words. Although this doesn't work for this version of the riddle.
