i was promoted last december but get disappointed with the salary i am recieving right now because im expecting that they will give me the same salary which they give to the previous supervisor(my current position right now) 5000aed i recieved only 2500aed. My boss told me that after 6 month company will give me an increment. Its my 6months on May with my current position. Do think its ok to remind my boss regarding this matter?can you please send me draft of request for salary increment.

Start by writing what you would say if you were talking to your boss face to face. Then post it here and we will help you with comments.

When I give people this advice, they don't usually do it. Are you going to? I hope so. Smile

As you are aware that I am working in this company since 3 years and i am getting very less salary. From day by day living cost is increasing and I am facing very difficult to maintain my families cost. Also I am just married one year ago.

re: salary increment

i kindly request for a salary increment. this is due to the inflation in the country current which has made the living standards go high. also considering i have a baby to take care of, i would like request for an increase of kshs.5,000.
