Hi,

You need to write the letter yourself, and then post it here so that we can give you comments.

The best way to start is to try writing down the reasons that you think you should get a salary increase.

Best wishes, Clive

Sub.:   Salary Increment

Dear Sir,

I have been employed with this company for the last four years as IT Support Engineer, during which period I have discharged my duties to the best of my abilities. I have been sincerely dedicated and continuing hard-work for our company. According to my commitment to job and obeyness the management as well as experience and sincerity. However, despite the general appreciation of my work I have not got any increment. Still my basic salary is very littleas 2500. So, may I now request you to consider my case for an increment to 4,000 as promotion System Engineer II. As you are aware of my family circumstances, I hope you will take a favorable view and I feel confident that the management will be generous in recognizing and rewarding my merit.

I'm looking forward to a favorable response from you.

Hi again,

I've suggested some changes.

Can you add any specific details of specific tasks you were very successful in, and that you are proud of?

Good luck with this, Clive

Dear Sir, (better to use his actual name, it makes it more personal)

I have worked for this company for the last four years as an IT Support Engineer. During this time I have discharged my duties to the best of my abilities. I have been sincerely dedicated and have constantly worked hard. I have been committed to my job, and have sought to achieve management's objectives.

However, despite general appreciation of my work, I have not receieved any salary increment.  My basic salary is still only 2500 (<<<< pounds, dollars, rupees? Say what). So, I now request you to consider my case for an increase to 4,000 and for promotion to System Engineer II.

As you are aware of my family circumstances, I hope you will take a favorable view and I feel confident that the management will be generous in recognizing and rewarding my merit.

I look forward to a favorable response from you. Thanks and best regards.

Yours Sincerely,

Manx

Hello guys,

i have read your qoutes regarding salary increment. i would like to ask you for another sample requesting salary increase.  I want to state in my letter that i already finished my 3 months probationary period. I am working for 7 months already in thisd company. I want to ask them to evaluate my salary and give me an increase.
