If you are Irish-Singaporean I would assume that you are eligible for Irish citizenship (without having to give up you Singaporean citizenship - at least under Irish law). If you are entitled to Irish citizenship you are also entitled to live in the UK (or any European Union country). In order to obtain a teaching position in the States you don't have to be a citizen, only a resident, unless you are part of an exchange program in which case residency status is not required.
