I want you to help me to figure out the difference between the following statements .. notify me if some are mistaken ..

I will send you my resume with the modifications applied

I will send you my resume with the modifications applied on

I will send you my resume with the modifications applied to

I will send you my resume with the modifications applied on - Doesn't really work

I will send you my resume with the modifications applied to it - Okay with change, but the first is better

Also: I will send you my resume with the changes (a more natural word than "modifications") made.

FYI, phrasal verbs are combinations of a verb and preposition that convey a particular meaning.  Some verbs can be combined with different prepositions to convey different meanings.  'Apply' and 'on' do not go together.  The preposition to use with 'apply' is always 'to.'
