Hi

I think something went wrong in the post-production of the film, where it became a bit too self-reverent. The point of view of the filmmaker dissapeared and every shot was kind of approved by the band.

I think it was a moment when hubris was the next logical step in our development and we walked into a sucker punch.

--- I have a general question regarding the above sentences. To me it says that the film was a bit too much concentrated on the main actors (band). The filmmaker stopped to say what he liked and disliked and all the shots were chosen by the members of the group themselves.

--- The second sentence, in my opinion, says that they became too haughty and ....hmm I'm not sure, it surprised them??? (I know what "sucker punch" means that's why I wrote that their haughtiness surprised them. But I'm not sure about it :)

Thanks

That seems close enough. "Hubris" is, of course, a Greek word that implies "overweening pride".
