Do we say :
self sufficiency
or
self satisfaction
or neither to describe a country that depends only on its resources?

The country has sufficient resources for itself, so it is a matter of self-sufficiency.

(Both of these words contain a hyphen, by the way: self-sufficiency, self-satisfaction.)
