Should there be any new developments, I'll write to you.
Should there be any news, I'll write to you.
If anything new shows up, we'll write to you.
If anything worthwhile communicating shows up, we'll write to you.

(If) anything new (shows up), we'll get in touch. (informal).

Hi,

Generally speaking, the verb 'inform' requires an object. You inform someone about something.

If there is something to inform you about, I'll write (to you).

Best wishes, Clive

If anything worthwhile communicating shows up, we'll write to you.  (1)

If anything worthwhile shows up, we'll write to you. (2)

a/ Is (2) correct? If not, why?

b/ You wrote (1) but I don't understand the structure. Why did you use communicating here? communicating = that communicates? What is the rule?

Thanks

I provided you several examples.
If you like them, you'll try to train your ear to their flow.

If you don't like them, I'd say do your own work (do searches) and try to see if their are common or acceptable.

My contribution to this thread has ended, I don't like to stay too much in a place.

Others will perhaps give you more examples and/or justifications.
