Hi,

I just want to know that in some books we can see the sentence like this

Krish et al, was proposed the work in medicinal plant

et al means - Krisk, David, Jhon

Yes, et al. is fine, although you need a period rather than a comma after the abbreviation 'al'. Actually, the period is often omitted.

'Krish et al.' means  'Krish and others', ie Krish, Krisk, David and Jhon. In other words, it is a plural subject.

'Proposed' is not a suitable word.

Krish et al. were offered the work in the medicinal plant.

Best wishes, Clive

Hi Nano,

Latin, of course.  Your analysis is correct if David and Jhon were part of the team.   -  like Lawrence Welk and his orchestra or Robin Hood and his band of merry men.  Technically, I don't think the named person must be the leader.  -  perhaps more like Krisk and so forth.
