Please help! Tommorow (11 Nov) I will be writing my Final English Language and Comprehension Exam. I need help with analysing the following sentence:
Francis put the phone down hurriedly then raced out the door into the garden to watch the hot-air balloon land.
This is the structure for our analysis:
1.Complex/Simple*
2. Type of sentence*
3. Structure: subject, verb, object, predicate, adverbial phrase of manner/time/place etc.
4. Parts of Speech*
5. Active/Passive voice.
I have figured out all the steps with the *, I just need help with the others! Your time and effort is fully appreciated as this the most important exam of my primary school career.
