Is this sentence grammatically correct?

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering whether the sentence below, especially the part underlined, is correct in grammar.
Is 'Comparing to" alright?
Should it be 'Compared to'?

Your second guess is better, but it has other problems:

Compared with those in other countries, Korean parents spend more money on education.
