Hello, 

I am not sure whether these sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics.
Can you give me a hand with checking them
Thank you for your help.

1.  Whether these heroes remain famous or become notorious is dependent on what kind of things they do for their society.

2. The mass media always report that political reformers who desired a democratic politics at the expense of their life campaigned against totalitarian government. All people esteem them as national heroes by watching this news on Television.

3.When Wang Woo suk suggested they faked some data for their results of research in stem cell, all over the world the mass media-- television, newspaper and magazine—harshly criticized him for cheating people and violating scientific ethics.

 

4.Wang Woo Suk’ reputation for a South Korea hero occurred as a result of the mass media that report he had successfully cloned human embryo. However, he becomes notorious for a lair because the mass media report his results of research is faked.

 

5.The strategy of mergence enables Hon Hai to become the fourth largest electronics manufacturing service companies.

I've tried to keep your words as much as possible.

1.  Whether these heroes remain famous or become notorious is dependent on what kind of things they do for their society.
