Hi KK,
Looked ok, but I made a few changes.
1.Although today’s world is more complicated than before, historical events or past experiences still can teach people crucial lessons, give people proper way to follow, and impart precious knowledge to people.
2. Monk Tui Yei, the founder of Tzu Chi Foundation, is greatly influenced by two great people who put much emphasis on humanitarianism. One is Schweitzer [who was the Nobel Prize Peace winner]. The other is Confucius, one of the greatest thinkers.
3. The Chinese Cultural Revolution brought about the long dark period during which the number of illiterates climbed, economic growth stagnated, political condition worsened. These grave consequences [have guided] the Chinese government to carry out widespread education, stimulate economic development, [and] avoid political conflict.
That Hitler triggered World War Two and authorized German soldiers to murder six million Jews told human beings that the significance of a peaceful and prosperous world. ( Not exactly sure what you tried to say…..)
