Finish each of the sentences in such a way that it means exactly the same as the sentence printed before it.

Both Mr.Wright and Mr. John teach us mathematics.

=>Who...?

My teacher said that the answer would be "Who teaches you mathematics?" but it seemed wrong to me.
Can you help me find the answer?

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Finish each of the sentences in such a way that it means exactly the same as the sentence printed before it. This does not seem like a clear instruction. A question cannot mean exactly the same as an indicative statement. eg Who cooks dinner? does not mean exactly the same as Tom cooks dinner.

A much better instruction would be 'Make a question from this sentence'.

Both Mr.Wright and Mr. John teach us mathematics.

=>Who...?

My teacher said that the answer would be "Who teaches you mathematics?" but it seemed wrong to me. This seems OK to me. Or you could say 'Who are the people who teach you mathematics?'

Best wishes, Clive

That's what bothered me. At first, I thought it would be "Who else could be teaching us mathematics except Mr.Wright and Mr.John?" but it turned out to be wrong.
