Is following sentence grammatically correct and is it correct to use thus after the comma.

Previous study has demonstrated GPR30 to be Gα_s coupled, thus stimulates adenylate cyclase and production of cAMP.

, but your comma is fine; you probably want 'stimulating' instead of 'stimulates'.
