Hi Dean,

They found that advertisements often did not provide elements of the product information as suggested by the WHO Ethical criteria for medicinal drug promotion.

This sounds OK. The only clarification might be "elements of the product information". I would change it to "some elements of the required information about the product as suggested..."

They found that advertisements often did not provide some elements of the required information about the product as suggested by the WHO Ethical criteria for medicinal drug promotion.

As/ Similar to/ Like  pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, information provided by sales representatives about their companies’ products to physicians is also controlled differently between countries under government advertising regulation and industry code of conducts for drug promotion.

This is not very wrong but doesn't flow. Maybe this way (Be careful, what you have said here is not clear, and my attempt though easier to read may be wrong with its meaning.)

Similar to pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, information about the products provided by the company's sales representatives to physicians is also controlled in a different manner if we compare countries under government advertising regulation and what is given by industry code of conducts for drug promotion.

Future studies could include developing countries to compare the information provide to doctors in developed and developing countries, representing a variety of regulatory and drug use environments.

This is not good. I just can't figure out what "representing" serves for. I'll try

In order to compare the information provided to doctors in developed and developing countries, future studies could include developing countries, that way encompassing a variety of regulatory and drug use environments.

Hi Aperisic,

Thanks for helping me.

I have repharased the sentence " The information about the products provided by the company's sales representatives to physicians is also regulated through government advertising regulation and industry code of conducts for drug promotion. Similar to pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, the information provided is controlled differently between countries". Would this be OK?

Hi Dean,

The sentences you wrote are all more or less correct. More trouble you have with the flow of meaning and logic.

"The information about the products provided by the company's sales representatives to physicians is also regulated through government advertising regulation and industry code of conducts for drug promotion. Similar to pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, the information provided is controlled differently between countries."

I would do this:

"The information about the products provided by the company's sales representatives to physicians is also regulated through government advertising regulation and industry code of conducts for drug promotion, but, similar to pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, the information provided is controlled differently between countries."

"but" says that it is not expected that information is controlled differently in mentioned cases. You can stress it

"The information about the products provided by the company's sales representatives to physicians is also regulated through government advertising regulation and industry code of conducts for drug promotion, but, similar to pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, the information provided is, nevertheless, controlled differently between countries ."

or

"The information about the products provided by the company's sales representatives to physicians is also regulated through government advertising regulation and industry code of conducts for drug promotion, and, similar to pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, the information provided is controlled differently between countries."

"and" says that even in these cases information is controlled differently. You can stress it

"The information about the products provided by the company's sales representatives to physicians is also regulated through government advertising regulation and industry code of conducts for drug promotion, and, similar to pharmaceutical advertisements in medical journals, the information provided is, again, controlled differently between countries."
