Hi,
Can somebody please help me with the sentences?
Regards,
Fizzi
1- Relatively, only few Xs were noted to provide Ys in four studies, but one study reported all Xs surveyed provided Ys. However, the later <<< do you mean 'later' or 'latter'? study had __ __.
'Relatively, only few' seems awkward. Relatively to what? Do you perhaps mean 'Relatively few. . . '? I would say 'another study' or perhaps 'a later study'.
2- Of the three studies provided information on Xs explicitly reported Y, no Y appeared except in one study which was only in 1 % of the Xs.
Of the three studies which provided information on Xs explicitly reported Y, no Y appeared except in one study which was only in 1 % of the Xs.
What does the phrase 'explicitly reported Y' relate to or mean here?
'Except in one study which was only in 1 % of the Xs' is very hard to understand. Maybe if I understood the details of X and Y, this would be clearer.
Overall, Fizzi, I don't find these sentences very clear or easy to understand. Perhaps you might like to reword them and post again.
Best wishes, Clive
