1.  the disadvantage of a quick decision is that it often ignores some important factors or aspects.

3. Not to stay up late at night is beneficial to my health. I'd say "not staying up late"

4. Not only does regular exercise speed up the metabolism, but  it can also strengthen the immune system that prevents/preventing  my body from coming down with a virus or disease.

5. sounds fine

That's what I would say, but maybe I'm wrong... (I know, I didn't check n°2...)

Dear friends,

It is a most interesting question. Smile [:)]

May we indeed say that a decision «ignores»?

Kind regards, Smile [:)]

Good point, Goldmund...  Smile [:)]

What would you suggest?

"The disadvantage of making a quick decision is that it often prevents you from taking etc... into account"?
