Hello,

I am not sure whether the two sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics.
Can you give me a hand with checking them
Thank you for your help.

1. Graduating from junior high school, I didn’t take more factors—personal interest, parent’s suggestion, and teachers’ advice—into account, and make a hasty decision to major in electronics at five- year technical school at which I learnt nothing on the grounds that electronics didn’t interest me.

2. I continued to make self-examination and explore what I want to learn in high education after making a serious mistake to enter the technical school.

3. After the Cultural Revolution, the Chinese government has been beginning to make a self-criticism in order for China to take concrete policies to improve all aspect of people’s life.

4.Human beings got through hardships caused by World War Two, which guide people to know the significance of world peace after making a series of self-criticisms.

2. I continued to make self-examination and explore(d) what I want to learn in high(er?) education after making a serious mistake of studying in the technical school.

3. After the Cultural Revolution, the Chinese government has begun to self-criticism in order to make concrete policies to improve all aspect(s) of people’s life.

I have given some suggestions.  They are probably not the best though.  I hope the suggestions didn't change the meaning of your sentences.

Since I'm not sure about what to do with 4, I've left it alone.

Hi,

4. People endured/survived hardships, caused by World War Two, which led them, after making a series of self-criticisms, to understand the significance of world peace.

The challenge in the original sentence is to clarify which noun each clause or phrase qualifies.

Best wishes, Clive
