Hello,

I am not sure whether these sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics.
Can you give me a hand with checking them
Thank you for your help.97

1.The statement that facts are stubborn things that people can’t change by their wishes, inclinations, or passions seems to be extreme.

2.I would like to clarify the word” fact” by exploring its denotative and connotative meaning. The denotative meaning of fact means that something has happened or exists.

3.How can people have ability to prove human beings never got through World War Two? How can people with inclinations or passion alter the cruel fact that Hitler murdered six million Jews?

Although people can't change these existing facts, they can still use their wishes to change connotative meaning of fact, political announcements or unfair laws, consturcted by the ruling class.

4.Such American segregation laws were made in order to distinguish the white and the black, which forced the black to suffer from unfair treatment and kept them from assimilating themselves into American society.

Hi,

I've kept your wordsas much as I could.

Best wishes, Clive

1.It seems extreme to state that facts are stubborn things which people can’t change by their wishes, inclinations or passions.

2.I would like to clarify the word ”fact” by exploring its denotative and connotative meaning. The denotative meaning of fact is that something has happened or exists.

3.How can people prove that many human beings never survived World War Two? <<<  I'm not sure of your meaning in this first sentence. How can people with emotions or passion alter the cruel fact that Hitler murdered six million Jews?

Although people can't change existing facts, they can still use their will to change the connotative meaning of facts , political announcements or unfair laws, when these are constructed by the ruling class.

4.Such American segregation laws were passed in order to maintain distinctions between whites and blacks, which forced the latter to suffer from unfair treatment and kept them from assimilating themselves into American society.
