In today's globalized world, we are seeing violent extremist types of alienation, narcissism, and fundamentalist religious, national, ethnic gender-related phobias which, near and far, have tightened the ring of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence in the world. These alienations, phobias, and narcissisms, although more dangerous when religious, are not limited to religion in the first place and moreover are not limited to a specific religion.

Please check bold commas (,) inserted. Are the insertions correct?  I have doubt in comma insertion between narcissm, and fundamentalist religious and also between phobias, and narcissisms. I thought it as serial comma. Does the author intend to mean "narcissm and fundamentalist religious..." and "phobias and narcissisms" as alienation? Kindly advise.

Given the grammar, the author means:

...we are seeing violent extremist types of ( 1 ) alienation, ( 2) narcissism, and ( 3 ) fundamentalist religious, national, ethnic gender-related phobias which, near and far, have tightened the ring of ( 1 ) dialogue, ( 2 ) tolerance, and ( 3 ) coexistence in the world. These ( 1 ) alienations, ( 2 ) phobias, and ( 3 ) narcissisms, although more dangerous when religious, are not limited to religion...
