Hi friends. I haven't written anything quite some time and I'd appreciate if you spot some mistakes, if any. Thanks in advance. It's kind of a letter I'm going to send. I'm not a dab at writing business or official papers so don't judge severely.

Dear sir/madam. First of all, I want to thank you for sharing the sample data free of charge and launching TerraSar-X mission and for the work you're doing.
I have got a question I fight against and I'd highly appreciate it if you'd answer [Is it good to use would in if-clause to emphasize politeness and a favour I'm asking for?].  I've downloaded the sample data of Upsala Glacier, Australia with a size of some 1.3 Gb. While trying to open that file with an extension of*.TIFF at Photoshop, I keep on getting an error. Another sample images which are avaliable and with the size of less than 1 GB can be opened easily. Another images with quite large size also have such a problem. I can't get what's the problem is. I tried some soft to view tags and it also gives an error. Would you be so kind to tell me what's the problem? Is that me who got facts wrong? Should I use another software or make up my own?

Thanks in advance. Sincerely yours, Anton K.

Dear Sir or Madam[I presume you know that you should use the surname if you know it or can find it out.]

First of all, I want to thank you for sharing the sample data free of charge, helping launch the TerraSar-X mission, and for doing all the work you're doing.

I am wrestling with a question, and I'd be grateful if you could answer it for me.

I've downloaded the sample data from Upsala Glacier, Australia, with a size of some 1.3 Gb. While trying to open that *.TIFF file with Photoshop, I keep on getting an error.  Another available image sample that is less than 1 GB can be opened easily.  Yet another sample containing very large images is also a problem.  I cannot figure out what the problem is. I tried some software for viewing tags, but it also produces an error.

Would you be so kind as to tell me if you can what my problem is? What am I doing wrong? Should I use another software or make my own?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely yours,

Anton K.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'

That's it, I guess. Thank you so much.

No-- leave it as it is:  'can' relates to the previous 'tell me'.

Yes, I looked through it. Thanks again.
