Hey fellow anonymous let me tell you
something Taiwan and China ARE currently seperated, if you didn't
know!
I am of Taiwanese descent, and while I grew up in the States, I have
lived in Taiwan for the past ten years, so I think I understand the
situation fairly well.
We DO NOT take orders from the Chinese government right now. We have
different governments. I think that while Taiwan's government has a lot
of problems,
which government doesn't? Its not up to China to decide what we should
do and what we shouldn't. Is there a good reason for China to take over
Taiwan?
I really can't think of one. China is making huge advancements in many
aspects, and Taiwan is not essential to its further developments. If
you say that the people in Taiwan are also Chinese, then why don't all
the different ethnic groups in the world start forming countries of
their own? Because it's pointless, that's why. Neither side would have
benefits that I can think of. Taiwan currently has a more advanced
society overall, but I believe that China will overtake Taiwan in a few
years. So what's the point of taking over?
