"Last week, it was revealed that the two boys of TVXQ would be making their comeback to the Korean music industry by releasing a OST track for SBS‘ "Athena: Goddess of War."

What's a diference of nuance between

a)would be making ~

b)would make ~

? Thanks in advance:)

Hi MM,could we replace it by using the "going to" form?

Not really; one cannot really 'plan' a successful comeback, one can only try, so the 'going-to' future seems odd here. Also, I notice that it should be 'comeback in', not 'comeback to'.
