Hi

We didn't approach it the way we'd approached our records before - or since, it has to be said. There had been a communication breakdown among us. After our last album I had been thinking about what was I going to do playing-wise.

--- I assume that "since" says that from that time until today. So, in other words, since that day they changed the way they recorded their records.

--- I have no idea about "playing-wise"? He's wondering what he was going to..? I don't get it :)

Hi Newguest,

Yes, your interpretation of "since" is correct.

As for "playing-wise", the -wise here is a suffix that simply means "in respect to". So, he had been thinking about how he would play his musical instrument(s).
