Hi
Could you please tell me if I should use "Since" or "False" in the following blank?
1- It's been raining _________all day.

First of all, many thanks for the prompt reply, Hancu--and, of course, sorry for my egregious typo.
Would you say that with "all" we use neither "since" nor "false"?
Hi Tom:
It's been raining all day.
It's beein raining SINCE this morning. (from a point in time)
It's been raining FOR six hours. (a duration of time)
Does that help?

Many thanks, GG. Can I change gears in mid-conversation?
Why did you use a colon after my name? Is it same as a comma?
Hi again,
I didn't realize that I had done so! I should have used a comma.
You do use a colon in formal American English business letters. I must have been in "work mode" and didn't realize what I was doing!
