Is the expression since weeks ago correct ?

e.g. I have been suffering from insomnia since weeks ago.

Thank you in advance.

Rule of thumb, don't use "since" with "ago" together. Since is used typically in present perfect tense, and ago is used in past tense.
You can say "
I have been suffering from insomnia for weeks. or

I was suffering from insomnia 3 years ago.

No.

You can say since two weeks ago, or since six weeks ago, pointing to a specific point in time.

Otherwise, just say for weeks.

Ok then, today is 23rd of July, between:
" I have been touring in China since 3 weeks ago"
" I have been touring in China for 3 weeks now"
" I have been touring in China since beginning of July"
Which would you prefer?

Oh, this is kind of natural. You shouldn't say 'since 3 weeks ago'. The natural thing would be 'since 3 weeks', that's all. In my opinion all the forms are correct.
Basta ;)
