Complete these sentences using another form of the boldface word.   my question is: why is "word" not in plural? There are many sentences in this exercise and many boldface words must be replaced with another form/forms?

Fill in the blank with the correct form of the verb. there are many questions in this exercise. Why are "blanks" and" verb" not written as "blanks" and "verbs" Thanks for your help.

In both cases, you are thinking about the whole exercise but the writer is talking about each individual sentence.

Best wishes, Clive

Thank you, Clive.

Are both cases correct? can I write this way?  Complete the sentences using another form of the words (1)

Fill in the blank with the correct form of the verbs.  (2)

Hi,

Are both cases correct? Yes, but the 'single sentence focus' is more common. It shows more clearly that it's only one word or one verb per sentence.

can I write this way?  Yes, if you want to.

Complete the sentences using another form of the words (1)

Fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verbs.  (2)

Best wishes, Clive

I'm not sure whether it is against the forum rules to post questions on others' threads. If it is, I am sorry and please ignore this post.

Is it fine to say:

Complete the sentence using another form of the word?

and

Complete this sentence using another form of the word?

I have the same doubt as the author of this thread.

Is it fine to say:

Complete the sentence using another form of the word?

and

Complete this sentence using another form of the word?

Yes, these are both fine.
