 Hi über-gurus

I have to wait for about 30 seconds to see the result when I click on the Post button. I have a fairly fast Internet connection, 10Mbps. I wonder how long others have to wait?

At least 30 seconds.  Sometimes, if it's a long post (as is my wont) I go all the way to the "Oops" screen, although I find on back-backing up that my post has posted.

P.S.  I always enjoyed the colorful stringed instrument, but am happy to know what you look like.   - A.

Big Smile  The instrument was a Fender guitar and the picture was from the web. It wasn't my guitar. I like guitar music a lot and have played the guitar for almost 50 years. Unfortunately I found it impossible to use the same picture when the avatars had to be reloaded. I was unable to get the whole guitar in the space provided. Perhaps one day I'll take a picture of one of my guitars (I have two) and use it as my avatar.

The present stone face can be seen "live" on the wall of a downtown building here in Helsinki. I took the picture myself.

Cheers, CB

PS  I'm glad I'm not the only one that has difficulties in posting. That means there's nothing wrong with my computer.

Me too. It's slow when posting, but I remember it used to be this way some time ago too, and then they fixed it. I think it's so because they are still messing around with the database and trying to optimize it, so... it'll probably get back to normal soon, I think. Smile

If you don't have a sense of humor already, it's about time you buy one.
