Let it be = leave it alone (it's fine as it is, don't bother it, etc.)

So be it = (let it be done, this is the way it should be, "amen")

So be it = can also have a negative meaning (well, if that's the way it has to be, that's the way it has to be - we can't help it).  "I don't like the arrangements you've made, but if that's the best you can do, so be it."

1) I really want to reschedule the appointment but if  you can't , let it be.

2) I really want to reschedule the appointment but if you can't , so it be.

According to the above context, which one is correct? please give some examples.

Thanks

2) I really want to reschedule the appointment but if you can't , so it be. be it

According to the above context, which one is correct? please give some examples.

Either could be used.

(1)  It's o.k.

 (2) = I'm resolved to the fact and will accept it, but I don't really like it.

So be it - words of resignation.

Let it be - words of wisdom
