Software localization is the process of adapting all user elements of software applications to conform to standards for specific languages. Every country has its own language, culture and customs, legal standards and a preference that must be met to achieve optimal acceptance. Software localization goes far beyond text translation of the user interface. It involves extracting and preparing the translatable content, utilizing special software localization tools and adapting the software to the specific target language. We will design the interface to be more comfortable and friendly to users in different countries and regions by considering cultural norms and habits. We consider: time/date displays, measurement systems, numbers and currency, legal conventions, character encoding and fonts, as well as dropdown list of cities and areas.
