Hi Gini,
I am writing to express my great interest in and enthusiasm about obtaining a position in 123 Hospital’s perinatal training program. I am a capable and experienced Registered Nurse with an excellent education from 345 College. Since graduating, I have developed and practiced my nursing skills as an RN in a Med/Surge unit at ABC Medical Center. In addition to my Med/Surge experience, I have precepted wrong word? or is it a technical word? Worked ?? in ABC’s Labor and Delivery unit under the direct supervision of the Perinatal is it perinatal or prenatal ? Clinical Nurse Specialist.
A few of the skills I have developed while precepting in a highly? acute Labor and Delivery unit are Fetal Heart Monitoring, assisting with epidural placement, dealing with complicated and cesarean births, managing alternative pain control, and monitoring mother and baby for post-partum complications. In addition to these perinatal skills, I can also contribute the knowledge I have developed while working as a Med/Surge RN, such as blood transfusion, IV administration, aseptic techniques, wound care, phlebotomy, advocating for the patient and acting as an intermediary between family, patients and physicians.
As a nurse I enjoy the incredible relationship that I have developed with my patients. I especially enjoy the special companionship and bonding that perinatal nurses develop with laboring mothers and their families. I thoroughly enjoy this experience and would like to continue to develop the skills I have acquired in my preceptorship and as a med-surge nurse. I hope to bring them to such an esteemed teaching hospital as UCSF.
I would like to schedule an interview with you at your earliest convenience for an opportunity to discuss my application, as well as my other skills and abilities as outlined in my attached resume.. My phone number is (999) 999-99, and my e-mail is Google@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Good luck with this. If you have any more questions, please post again.
