Can someone, please, correct my mistakes in the sentences below:

Then why would my agent advise me to find a lawyer instead of my being referred to one.
My other question is how much time the victim has after a car accident to file a suit. Is it one year?

how bout if I put "be" on it, is it still wrong?

my other question is for how long would the victim of the car accident still be eligible to file suit after the accident occured?

what is the correct sentence if I want to use "would" and "eligible"

For how long would the vicitim of the car accident still be eligible...

I would put "after the accident" after "for how long" and try to avoid using "accident" twice so that it reads: For how long after a car accident would a vicitm still be eligible to file suit?
