In the past, during my childhood, living in a small town, I used to play in a beautiful garden. As everyone knew everyone there, all the adults of the neighborhood stayed cool (very slangy, that may be the effect you want, but if more formal try 'were very relaxed about it'. Then came the times of studies and my family moved to a bigger town. Graduated, I became responsible for my life; my entertainment activities were always books, music and movies. Whenever possible, I left housework to someone else.
At the present, being retired, I have much more time to do all things I couldn´t do in the past; though my sources of pleasure are now just the same and I still don´t like being a housewife, so this function is not a choice, only an obligation. As time advanced I saw that I had very few friends worth maintaining contact with.
In the future, I hope I will have more energy in my battle against some health problems and be able to travel through my country. (I have only been to 4 cities in Brazil). By the way, the study of languages will always be a great part in my life. I hope one day to go abroad visiting Europe.
