Hello everybody,

I’m just confused of a matter that is constantly happening to me in this English Forum. I just want to make sure that receiving spam emails is usually occurred to every one inbox in this forum. I know that it was happening to me by my private hotmail inbox but I couldn’t understand why it does happen here too. I don’t mean that I’m upset or bothered of this or that I’ll reply to these emails but English forum is not a place for spam.

Is there somebody here who could we report this to him?

Hi Caramel,

Yes, it's happening to many of our members. Sad I (for instance) have had comments on my wall (promptly deleted!), email messages or private messages aimed at getting either my email address or my bank account number.

The best thing we can do is:
- don't reply to them - never;
- report to one of the moderators (for instance, through a PM).

As soon as a member is found guilty of either spamming or scamming, he or she is banned. So, please do report scammers and spammers.
